A sweater tank and jeans are buddies. Sweater tanks also look fabulous with denim shorts and cut-off shorts. For a cooler look, top off your sweater tank and cut-off shorts with this blazer. I also love to pair sweater tanks with dressy shorts. They tend to look best with a little front tuck, but most sweater tanks don’t need to be tucked in to look right. When wearing a cropped sweater tank, pair it with high-waisted jeans, shorts, or a skirt.
Lastly, make sure you have the right nude bra for a sweater tank. The wrong bra will easily poke out and about. Think slim straps and a low profile. Don’t be afraid to take up the strap of a sweater tank top at your local tailor. Many of them are too long. This will prevent your bra from showing under your armpit.
What Outerwear To Wear With A Sweater Tank
I love a scarf or shawl with a sweater tank, but my favorite outwear is a casual blazer like this linen-blend blazer by Veronica Beard. A denim jacket is also a great topper for a sweater tank. If it’s cold enough, a fabulous coat can work as well. A sweater over a sweater tank is not as yummy of a look, but it’s not a big deal.
